I’m an Idaho-based writer of stories, essays, and poems. I’m in love with language, and I’m always trying to figure out the heart of things.
My current project is a novel-in-letters titled Caravan. It’s about a young woman emigrating from England to America in the 19th century. The research is so fun, a dangerous rabbit-hole!
When I’m not writing, I love to be with family and friends. I’m married to Patrick, and we’ve got three grown sons and two little granddaughters. Pure joy for me is hiking trails or navigating waterways with them in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
